I forgot to bring my camera on this trip, so I won’t have pictures to post until I get home. I have ended up ripping out the heel flap and heel turn repeatedly, mostly because I just wasn’t paying enough attention. The sad fact is that I did the heel flap wrong but didn’t notice [...]

So I am working on the music bag. It’s kind of boring to work on, so I’ve relegated it to the evenings when my brain does not have to work so hard. So for daytime, I’ve started my second pair of socks using Tofutsies yarn- it so very soft, and this pattern.
Here is how far [...]

So I ripped out the purple Manos hat pictured earlier. I had put it down for a couple of weeks, and couldn’t remember how the pattern was supposed to go, so I decided to rip it out. Here is what it looks like now. The pattern can be found here.
So I ripped it out again, [...]

I’ve finished up my consulting project in Seattle and I am heading home to Maryland this morning. I love Seattle. It’s a great city and I’ve felt very comfortable here. I wish I could have been able to move when they offered me a position at the company I was consulting for, but I just [...]
