Last Friday, I sold my first skein of yarn on my etsy shop. I hope that that will only be the first of many, but who knows. I do love dyeing yarn, and if I live another 100 years, maybe I can knit them all up myself.
I’ve been working on my Fawkes Socks; the pattern is available here.
The colors are quite bright and fun to work with, but I have no idea what kind of yarn it is, as sometime ago I wound the skeins into balls, and who knows what happened to the labels, so I will treat them as hand wash only, taking the most conservative approproach. If anybody has any ideas of what this yarn is let me know.
I’ve knit both sock legs, and today I will begin the gusset.
And…last but not least, I have been invited to Ravelry. So I have been busy uploading photos to Flickr and getting things into ravelry. It’s going to take some time to catch up.
Congrats on selling your first skein of yarn on Etsy!

Ravelry will eat up lots of precious knitting time, but it is lots of fun!
